Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Coordinating
Board
The New Hampshire Emergency Medical and Trauma Services
Coordinating Board was created by statute to oversee
the administration and planning of a coordinated statewide
system of emergency medical patient care.

Medical Control Board
The EMS physicians who serve on the NH Medical
Control Board, oversee the medical aspects of planning
and administration for the statewide EMS system.
They are all actively involved with EMS squads and
hospitals in their local communities and are dedicated
to continually improving the quality and scope of
services that our EMS system provides to victims
of illness or injury in our state.

Trauma Medical Review Committee
The New Hampshire Trauma Medical Review Committee
(TMRC) was created by statute to oversee the establishment
of the NH Trauma System and to ensure the continuous
improvement of the system. The TMRC is made up of
physicians and surgeons representing different organizations
and specialties, emergency and trauma nurses, representatives
from statewide EMS-related organizations and hospitals,
and representatives of other entities that play an
important role in trauma care and injury prevention.
