The NH Bureau of EMS (NHBEMS) has dedicated a full time staff position to address issues involving the emergency preparedness aspects of Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

New Hampshire is also one of the few states which has instituted a full time staff position to assist in coordinating mutual aid, mass casualty and disaster planning, providing liaison to other local, regional and state public safety agencies, associations and organizations.

Efforts are on going to provide an EMS perspective on projects involving the health and safety or our providers and the public we serve.

Major areas of responsibility include:

Most importantly, the EMS Preparedness Coordinator serves as a point of contact for resource assistance on various Emergency Medical Services disaster and preparedness efforts.
