EMS Radio Communications

NH System

Currently ambulance-to-hospital radio communications in New Hampshire is based on the 1982 "NH EMS Communications Plan" which utilizes the 155.340 MHz VHF (High Band) Hospital Emergency Administrative Radio frequency. Each hospital has been designated an access tone for ambulance contact.

Radio Communications Planning

NHBEMS is participating in a state-level study to determine future radio communications needs in cooperation with fire, law enforcement and other public safety agencies. NHBEMS is also involved in New England-wide communications planning efforts.
