About Us

Arts Plans

The grants, programs, and services of New Hampshire State Council on the Arts are guided by our Strategic Arts Plan, which is developed through a process that factors in the voices of the people we serve; the economic, social, and cultural circumstances of the times; and aligns with the resources we have available.

The State Arts Council is currently engaged in a NEW strategic planning process, that will help chart our course from 2014 to 2018. We are fortunate to have Maren Brown Associates assisting us in researching and developing this plan.

Thank you to the artists and organizations that responded to our recent surveys.

Thank you to the many individuals who are participating in various Focus Groups being held in March and April! Your thoughts are very important to us.

Our 2010 - 2013 Strategic Arts Plan

Our 2010-2013 and is an extension of the mission, values, guiding principles, and goals of our 2005 to 2010 Strategic Arts Plan. The objectives and strategies were revised to reflect the shifting resources of the agency and the needs of the community. Each year, we assess our progress in relation to our plan and make adjustments that are responsive to changing times.

SURVEYS:

Surveys are an important tool for gathering public input on our programs and getting a better understanding of the priorities for artists and arts organizations.

Click here for a summary of past surveys carried out by the State Arts Council. Results of the 2013 surveys will be posted late Spring.
