Arts Plans

The grants, programs, and services of New Hampshire State Council on the Arts are guided by careful and considered planning. Every few years a new Arts Plan is developed that outlines a strategy to meet the needs of the community and target our resources effectively. Each plan factors in the voices of the people we serve; the economic, social, and cultural circumstances of the times; and aligns with the resources we have available.

Our 2010-2013 Arts Plan extends the mission, values, guiding principles, and goals from our 2005 to 2010 Arts Plan. The objectives and strategies have been revised to reflect our current resources and the current needs of our citizens.

Though the official date for feedback on our Arts Plan has passed, we are always open to your suggestions. Click on the Feedback Welcome button to email us your thoughts.

Each year, we strive to measure our progress in relation to our Arts Plan and adjust our priorities so that we can be responsive to the communities we serve.

Thank you to the many organizations and artists who completed the July, 2010 Arts Survey. Your input will be very helpful to us!
