The State Arts Council was established in 1965 as the official state arts agency through legislation (RSA 19-A) "to insure that the role of the arts in the life of our communities will continue to grow and play an ever more significant part in the welfare and educational experience of our citizens." We have marked our milestone anniversaries with research, publications, special programs, and exhibits.
2015 marks our 50th Anniversary!
Stay tuned for a list of activities that will help us celebrate and acknowledge a half century of arts achievements!
