Example 1:
Homeowner (HO-3) policy for 1984 owner-occupied wood frame house, heated with oil or gas. One working fireplace, composite shingle roof. Fire hydrant within 1,000 feet and responding fire station within five miles. Replacement value $200,000. Contents replacement value $140,000. $300,000 liability, $1,000 medical and $250 deductible.
Example 2:
Homeowner (HO-3) policy for 1890 owner-occupied wood frame house, heated with oil or gas. One working fireplace, composite shingle roof. Updated wiring and plumbing. Fire hydrant within 1,000 feet and responding fire station within five miles. Replacement value $300,000. Contents replacement value $125,000. $300,000 liability, $1,000 medical and $250 deductible.
Example 3:
Tenant (HO-4) policy for 1995 constructed apartment in 25 unit wood frame building. Fire hydrant within 500 feet and responding fire station within five miles. Full replacement value of contents $50,000. $300,000 liability, $1,000 medical and $250 deductible.
Example 4:
Condominium owner’s (HO-6) policy for 2000 constructed in 10 unit wood frame building. Heated by gas, 1 fireplace. Fire hydrant within 500 feet and responding fire station within five miles. Full replacement value of contents $100,000. $300,000 liability, $1,000 medical and $250 deductible.
