Early Bird Registration for AIE Conference Open through Aug. 6

Get a discount on the cost of attending the 2010 New Hampshire State Council on the Arts' Statewide Arts in Education Conference if you register by August 6! The conference is scheduled for October 22-24, 2010, at the AMC Highland Center, Crawford Notch, Bretton Woods.
The conference offers presentations, workshops, resources and networking opportunities for artists, educators, and community supporters of arts in education. The 2010 keynote speaker is researcher James Catterall, Professor of Education at the University of California, Los Angeles, and co-author of "Critical Links: Learning in the Arts and Student Social and Academic Development." Reminder: Percent for Art Site Visits Coming Up

A reminder to visual artists who plan to submit proposals for two upcoming Percent for Art projects: On-site informational meetings for both are being scheduled for the first week in August.

  • The on-site meeting for the project at NHTI – Concord’s Community College’s Grappone Hall will take place Monday, August 2, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. For information about the NHTI project, the meeting, and a link to the Request for Proposals, click here.
  • The on-site meeting for the Merrimack Court project will be held Wednesday, August 4, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. For information about the Merrimack project, the meeting, and a link to the Request for Proposals, click here.
