susan stricklerA museum professional for 30 years, Susan Strickler was appointed Director of the Currier Museum of Art in 1996; she became Director and CEO in 2010. The Currier's two most popular exhibitions during Susan’s tenure were Maxfield Parrish 1870-1966 (1999) and M.C. Educated at Mount Holyoke College and the University of Delaware, Susan held curatorial posts at the Worcester Art Museum, Toledo Museum of Art, and Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She has organized exhibitions and authored catalogues on a range of topics from American watercolors, American portrait miniatures to American Impressionist Edmund C. Tarbell and realist Andrew Wyeth.
