5th ANNUAL BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION PICNIC

The NHSP Benevolent Association hosted the 5th Annual Summer Picnic on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Ellacoya State Park in Gilford. The event featured lobsters and steamers along with hot dogs and hamburgers and a dish to share by everyone who attended. Retired Trooper Jeff Bonan and his sidekick, Ken (honorary Benevolent Member for the day), cooked the lobsters and steamers while Retired Trooper Cathy McHugh flipped countless hamburgers and hot dogs while Retired TFC Kathy Colitti assisted with the buns, cheese and serving.

The kids enjoyed the Bouncy House, swimming and games such as the egg and water balloon toss and sack races. The adults even got into the sack races and games with the eggs. There were prizes for the winners. There was a Christmas Card Drawing Contest for the kids for the 2013 Benevolent Association Christmas Card. The winner of this contest is revealed when the Christmas Card is sent out in December.

It was a beautiful Summer day for the picnic and those in attendance had a great time!
