Community Spirit Award

For 21 years has owned and operated StudioWorks Fine Arts and Graphics Studio in Berlin. As a youth in Berlin, Belanger apprenticed as a wood sculptor to Robert Hughes. He was invited to represent New Hampshire at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in 1999 and at the Celebrate New Hampshire Festival in Hopkinton in 2000. Belanger recently completed a state commission for a hand-carved relief for the new Carroll County Courthouse in Ossipee.
