In addition to supervising a staff of 22 professionals conducting the functions of a corporate treasurer's office, the State Treasurer is statutorily appointed to several boards, commissions, and committees, including the following:

- Retirement System Board of Trustees
- School Building Authority
Furthermore, the State Treasurer serves as Administrator of both the State Revolving Fund Program for Pollution Control and the Seabrook Nuclear Decommissioning Trust and is also Trustee of the College Tuition Savings (529) Plans.
