Motor Vehicle Crash , Concord, NH

On September 21, 2020, at approximately 10:16 a.m., the New Hampshire State Police – Troop D was notified of a commercial vehicle that had rolled over on the I-393 eastbound on-ramp from I-93 north.

Upon arrival, troopers found a 20' heavy duty trailer had overturned, containing a 38,000 pound excavator. The trailer was being towed by a 2017, 3-axle Mack dump truck belonging to Riggs Distler & Company Inc. of New Jersey.

Initial investigation indicated that the operator, Cameron St. Pierre, age 29, of Richmond, New Hampshire, was negotiating the corner of the on-ramp when he lost control of the vehicle due to a tire on the trailer blowing out. He was also driving too fast for the existing conditions. These factors contributed to the load overturning. There were no reported injuries and the driver was given a warning for unreasonable speed.

New Hampshire State Police – Troop D was assisted at the scene by the New Hampshire State Police–Troop G, Concord Fire-Rescue, The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.

At this time, the I-393 on-ramp from I-93 north is shut down until the vehicles can be removed and the pavement is patched.

This incident is being investigated by TFC Michael Pelletier. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact TFC Pelletier, New Hampshire State Police –Troop D, at 603-271-3636.
