Commercial Motor Vehicle Crash, Route 101 Epping, NH

On Tuesday August 25, 2020 at approximately 12:10 p.m. Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A barracks responded to Route 101 in the town of Epping for a report of a motor vehicle rollover involving a commercial vehicle. Initial on-scene investigation revealed that a 2019 Freightliner garbage truck being driven by Ronald Trembley age 45, of Malden, MA was traveling westbound when he lost control of the truck. The Freightliner veered right and impacted the guardrail face. It then traveled off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment, and rolled over, coming to final on the passenger side. Trembley and the passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. A portion of Route 101 was closed for approximately 2.5 hours while the Freightliner was recovered by New England Truck Center. The cause of this crash remains under investigation by NH State Police, Troop-A.

Troopers from New Hampshire State Police Troop-A were assisted at the scene by NH State Police Troop-G Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement Unit, NH Department of Transportation, members of the Epping EMS/ Fire Department, Raymond EMS, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department as well as New England Truck Center.
