DWI Saturation patrol, Strafford County

Colonel Nathan Noyes, Director of the New Hampshire State Police, and Lieutenant John Hennessey, Commander of the Troop A barracks announce that during the week of August 17, 2020, State Troopers from the Troop A barracks - in conjunction with police officers from the Dover and Milton Police Departments, will be conducting a DWI saturation patrol throughout Strafford County.

This initiative is designed to combat the on-going issue of impaired driving. Although State and local police work tirelessly against this issue on a daily and nightly basis, the project will allow a larger contingency of officers and Troopers to focus solely on the detection and apprehension of impaired drivers.

As the summer months persist, the New Hampshire State Police would like to encourage all motorists to make safe decisions and remind everyone that the problem of impaired driving is a preventable one.
