Tractor Trailer Rollover, Route 101 eastbound, I-95 off-ramp, Hampton, NH

On Tuesday August 4, 2020 at approximately 8:14 a.m., Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A barracks responded to a tractor-trailer rollover crash on the Route 101 eastbound off- ramp to Interstate 95. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Freightliner hauling a loaded trailer rolled over as it exited Route 101 toward I-95. It appears speed was a factor in the causation of this rollover crash. However, all aspects remain under investigation.

The operator, Jose Martinez, age 46 of Bristol, Connecticut was transported to Exeter Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The off-ramp was closed for over six hours while Troopers investigated the crash and the tractor-trailer was removed from the scene. All traffic was diverted to Exit 13 during the ramp closure, with minimal impact to the motoring public.

Assisting Troop-A at the scene were, NH State Police-Troop-G, the Hampton Police Department, the Hampton Fire Department, NH Department of Transportation, NH Department of Environmental Services and New England Truck Center.
