Felony Arrest/Standoff, Alstead, NH

On August 4, 2020 at approximately 0141 hours, troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C and Troop D barracks responded to a residence on Pine Cliff Road in Alstead for a report of a domestic disturbance. Initial information indicated that

Alstead, NH

Had been involved in an altercation with a family member during which he had discharged a firearm. The family member was able to flee to an adjoining residence, and it was determined that Hatch was now alone in his residence. Once on scene troopers were able to make verbal contact with Hatch, but he refused to meet with troopers and told them to leave the property. Troopers established a perimeter and continued attempts to speak with Mr. Hatch. At approximately 0544 hours, Hatch exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident.

Mr. Hatch is charged with one count of Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon (Felony). He was held without bail and will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 4th in Cheshire County Superior Court.
