Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash, Concord Drive, Webster, NH

On Sunday, August 2, 2020 at approximately 11:40a.m., a Webster Police Officer observed a vehicle with a motor vehicle violation on Concord Drive in the town of Webster, New Hampshire. As the Officer began to turn around and initiate a motor vehicle stop the vehicle sped off. As the Officer crested the hill he observed that the same vehicle had failed to negotiate a curve in the road, left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was eventually identified as a 2005 Chevrolet Blazer.

Based upon the initial investigation, the Chevrolet Blazer was traveling northbound on Concord Drive when it attempted to avoid the Webster Police Officer. As the vehicle began to speed away it failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, left the roadway and struck a tree. The operator of the Chevrolet Blazer was identified as Elizabeth Fraser, age 39, of Concord, NH. Fraser sustained serious bodily injuries and was taken to Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. The front passenger in the vehicle was identified as Caitlyn Cote, age 28, of Boscawen, NH. Cote was also taken to Concord Hospital with serious injuries. The rear passenger in the vehicle was identified as Adam Liesner, age 31, of Belmont, NH. Liesner sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene. Due to the seriousness of the crash, Webster Police Department requested that the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit respond.

The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit was assisted on scene by Webster Police Department, Boscawen Police Department as well as the Webster Fire/EMS Department. Due to the collision, Concord Drive was closed for several hours.

At this time it appears that speed was a factor in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation. Anyone that may have further information related to this collision, or who witnessed this collision are encouraged to contact Trooper First Class Daniel Quartulli at 603-223-8993 or email him at daniel.quartulli@dos.nh.gov.
