State Police-Marine Patrol Public Information Meetings

March 12, 2020, Portsmouth NH, 6:00 pm
April 23, 2020, Seabrook NH, 6:00 pm

The New Hampshire State Police-Marine Patrol Unit invites the public to attend a boating safety information meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Portsmouth Urban Forestry Center at 45 Elwyn Road in Portsmouth.

The Marine Patrol has scheduled a second meeting at the Seabrook Community Center, 311 Lafayette Road, on April 23, 2020, also at 6:00 pm.

These meetings will bring coastal boating stakeholders together to discuss the Marine Patrol's mission on our public waters. In addition to boating safety, topics will include the enforcement of recent personal watercraft (PWC) restrictions in the marshlands of Seabrook and Hampton, PWC operation around mooring fields and beaches, boat speed under bridges, and beach safety.

Captain Tim Dunleavy of the Marine Patrol said, "These meetings will provide the boating public with an opportunity to express the concerns they have relating to boating and the environment. This exchange will assist the Marine Patrol with its planning for the 2020 recreational boating season."

Members of the public are also invited to express their concerns in writing to the Marine Patrol via email at
