On Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at approximately 12:03 a.m., Trooper Geoffrey Miller of the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A Barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop of a Subaru Outback on Interstate 95 North in the Town of Hampton Falls for a speed offense. During the course of this stop, Tr. Miller observed multiple indicators that the vehicle's occupants were possibly engaged in drug trafficking. The vehicle's owner and operator, Adelso CHAVES, age 33, of Boston, Massachusetts gave his consent to search the vehicle. During this search, Tr. Miller located approximately 300 grams of crack cocaine concealed within a box of cookies.

Both CHAVES and his passenger, Tyquan MACK, age 29, of Manhattan, New York were arrested and transported to the Rockingham County Jail. At the jail a subsequent search of MACK lead to the discovery of approximately 50 grams of crack cocaine on his person.

Both CHAVES and MACK are charged with Possession of Control Drug with Intent to Sell. Additionally, MACK is charged with Resisting Arrest and Falsifying Physical Evidence.

CHAVES and MACK were held on cash bail following their arrests, and were later arraigned on March 4th at the Rockingham County Superior Court.
Trooper Miller was assisted by members of the State Police Mobile Enforcement Team.

Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact Tr. Geoffrey Miller of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop-A Barracks at (603)679-3333 or Geoffrey.Miller@dos.nh.gov.
