Based upon information gathered during an approximately one month long investigation into the cause of the Epping crash that caused a JP Noonan fuel tanker to roll over on Route 101, an arrest has been made. On Monday, January 20, 2020 at approximately 5:05 pm, Trooper Goulet of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop-A barracks, arrested 25 year old Desiree Gulyban at her residence in Hampton on warrants for Felony Reckless Conduct and Second Degree assault.

At the time of the crash, Gulyban was operating a 2003, Volvo S60, when she crashed into a 2007 Heil tanker truck owned by JP Noonan Transportation. The crash caused the tanker to leave the roadway and overturn in the wood line, spilling over 6,000 gallons of the nearly 11,000 gallons of fuel that was being transported.

As a result of Gulyban's actions, the operator of the tanker, Jeffry Beaulieu, age 28, of New Boston, sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Route 101 was closed between exit 6 and 7 for approximately 10 hours. Environmental assessment and cleanup of the fuel remains ongoing, and is expected to last several months to a year.
