On January 13th, 2020 at approximately 10:43 a.m., members of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop G – Investigations Unit responded to the Division of Motor Vehicles office in Nashua after receiving information of an individual attempting to submit what appeared to be a fraudulent driver's license.

Upon arrival, Troopers were able to identify a suspect, later identified as Julio Garcia DIAZ, 35 of Nashua, NH. DIAZ presented an Application for Driver's License along with a Puerto Rican driver's license to the clerks that both displayed indicators of potential fraud. Troopers ultimately learned that DIAZ had not held a valid license since 2010 and that the license presented was fraudulent.

DIAZ was arrested without incident at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Nashua and charged with Tampering with Public or Private Records as well as Prohibitions. He has been ordered to appear in the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on March 4, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.
