On Tuesday October 15, 2019 at around 5:45am, the New Hampshire State Police, Troop F received a report of a 2 vehicle accident on Route 26 in the town of Errol. The reporting party was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. The initial report was that there were no injuries and all passengers were out of the vehicles. State Police responded from Gorham to investigate.

Upon arrival, the investigation showed that a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup, operated by:

Mark Largesse
Age 31
Berlin, NH

was headed west on Route 26 between the Errol International Airport and the Errol Snowmobile Association. The second vehicle, a 1989 Mack dump truck, operated by:

David Theriault
Age 60
Errol, NH

was also headed west in front of the pickup driven by LARGESSE. The Dodge pickup, driven by LARGESSE, came upon the dump truck, which was travelling at around 40 mph. LARGESSE reported that he fell asleep while driving and woke just before hitting the dump truck, driven by THERIAULT.

The pickup received heavy damage to the front end, but LARGESSE was able to get out of the vehicle on his own. Just after the initial impact, the vehicle caught fire and became fully engulfed in fire. LARGESSE was transported to Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital for unknown injuries. THERIAULT was not injured. LARGESSE's vehicle was towed from the scene due to its damage. The dump truck received very minor damage and was driven from the scene.

The accident is still being investigated at this time. State Police was assisted at the scene by Errol Fire and EMS.
