Man Arrested for Using False Identity at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Manchester

On July 3, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., staff at the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles in Manchester, alerted the New Hampshire State Police – Troop G to the presence of a male subject, who was suspected of using a false identity in an effort to obtain a New Hampshire Driver's License.

The New Hampshire State Police learned that the male had identified himself as Orlando Santos-Quilles, age 45, of Manchester, NH. As the result of a combined investigation with the Massachusetts State Police, New Hampshire Troopers discovered the male had also been identified as Jamie J. Velez-Colon, age 39 of Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts. With the assistance of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Troopers were able to identify the male as, Milciante Asuncion-Tejera, age 47, of Bani, in the Dominican Republic.

The New Hampshire State Police ultimately took Milciante Asuncion-Tejera into custody. He was charged with two criminal offenses of Unsworn Falsification, one offense of Prohibitions of a Drivers' License, and three offenses of Tampering with Public Records. Milciante Asuncion-Tejera was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. He was arraigned on Friday July 5, 2019, at the 9th Circuit – District Division -Manchester Court where he was remanded into custody pending trial.

The New Hampshire State Police – Troop G was assisted by members of the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Massachusetts State Police.
