Serious Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Crash, Interstate 93 NB, Littleton NH

On 18 May 2019 at approximately 8:39 pm, the New Hampshire State Police received the report of a serious motor vehicle collision that had occurred on Interstate 93 NB, in the town of Littleton, involving a motorcycle and a deer.

The on-scene investigation revealed that Linda Perkins, Age 63, Barnet, VT, Had been operating a 2013 Can-Am Spyder, 3-wheeled, motorcycle northbound on Interstate 93, when a deer ran out in front of Perkins striking the motorcycle.

As a result of the collision, Perkins was ejected which resulted in serious injuries. Perkins was transported from the scene to Littleton Regional Hospital and later transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Perkins was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

Due to the collision, Interstate 93 was closed for approximately 2 ½ hours while Troopers investigated the crash. New Hampshire State Police – Troop F was assisted on scene by the Littleton Police Department, Littleton Fire Department, and Golden Cross Ambulance.

At this time, all aspects of the collision remain under investigation, however, neither speed nor alcohol are factors in this collision at this time. Anyone that may have further information pertaining to this crash is encouraged to contact Trooper David Lyon at 603-223-8755 or
