Motor Vehicle Crash, I-93 NB Salem, NH

On April 25, 2019, at approximately 11:25 am, New Hampshire State Police Troop B, as well as the Salem Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash on I-93 North in the Town of Salem with assistance from the Salem Police Department.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the operator of a 2018 Nissan Sentra lost control and subsequently struck the guardrail.

The operator:
Jose LAGUER
Age 24
Boston, MA

Sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Lawrence General Hospital.

The adult male passenger:
Jorge RAMIREZ
Age 22
Chelsea, MA

Suffered serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He is currently in stable condition. Interstate I-93 North was shut down for approximately 20 minutes while RAMIREZ was being airlifted.
