Motor Vehicle Roll Over, I-93 South and North Exit 2, Salem, NH

On Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at approximately 4:30 p.m., the New Hampshire State Police Troop B received a report of a motor vehicle accident where a vehicle had rolled over from the northbound side of I93 to the southbound side of I93 in the area of Exit 2 in Salem, NH.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the operator, 51 year old Michael Desmond of Woburn, Massachusetts was operating, a 2003 Infiniti M45 when control was lost. Desmond struck two vehicles traveling north bound prior to his vehicle rolling into the south bound side of I93. The right lane in each direction was closed for approximately 40 minutes until the accident scene was clear. Salem Fire Department personnel and EMS assisted on scene. Desmond was transported to the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA to receive further medical attention for minor injuries. No one else was injured as a result of the accident.
