On Saturday March 23, 2019 at approximately 10:20 pm, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A responded to Route 101 in the Town of Hampton for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Initial on-scene investigation revealed that a 2017 Subaru Impreza operated by Jessica Scaccia, age 48, of Exeter, NH had been traveling westbound when she suffered an unknown medical issue and lost control of her vehicle. Scaccia traveled across the center median into the eastbound lane then changed direction and again crossed the center median traveling into the westbound lanes and impacted the guardrail sending her vehicle airborne down an embankment. Scaccia's vehicle came to final rest approximately 100 feet off the roadway into the wood line. Scaccia sustained minor injuries resulting from the collision and was transported to Exeter hospital for evaluation. The exit 13 on ramp to Route 101 westbound was closed for approximately 1 hour while the vehicle was recovered from the wood line.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop-A were assisted at the scene by members of the Hampton Police Department, Hampton Fire Department and Al's Automotive & Truck.
