On February 19, 2019 at approximately 1900 hours, Trooper First Class Brian Gacek, NH State Police Troop A, initiated a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 95 northbound in the City of North Hampton, NH. Four occupants of the vehicle were identified, to include a nine year old female.

Pursuant to a roadside investigation, TFC Gacek seized a quantity of suspected Heroin/Fentanyl. As a result of information gleaned from the traffic stop, Albert J. Reynolds (age 40) of Somersworth, NH was arrested for possession of a controlled drug (B felony) and endangering the welfare of a child (A misdemeanor). The remaining occupants were released and likely to face charges at a later date.

The NH State Police will continue to work in conjunction with the Division for Children, Youth and Families to ensure that the juvenile female is not a victim of abuse or neglect, while attempting to preserve the family unit.

These circumstances remain under investigation by TFC Gacek. Anyone with further information is asked to contact TFC Gacek, via telephone, at 603-679-3333.
