Narcotics Investigation, Interstate 89, Springfield

On January 18, 2019 at approximately 2200 hours, troopers responded to the Interstate 89 Springfield, NH Rest Area for the report of two subjects acting suspiciously in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Trooper Matthew Field encountered two subjects who were doing "snow angels" in the parking lot, as well as doing push up and sit ups on the roof of their vehicle. Both subjects were found to be experiencing an overdose on narcotics.

Both subjects were treated by EMS and transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

A subsequent investigation and search warrant of the vehicle involved resulted in the seizure of:

  • Crack Cocaine,
  • Heroin,
  • Methamphetamine,
  • Amphetamine,
  • Suboxone,
  • Marijuana,
  • narcotic packaging materials,
  • a narcotics ledger of sales, and
  • a large sum of currency.

Follow up investigation led to the issuance of an Arrest Warrant for the involved individual: Jennifer Dadah, 34 Years Old, Berlin, VT.

Warrants were issued for Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Sell, as well as Possession of a Controlled Drug (5 Counts).

Dadah was arrested as a fugitive from justice by the Vermont State Police on February 9, 2019.

Dadah is currently awaiting extradition to NH.
