Motor Vehicle Crash Involving Dover Toll Plaza, Route 16, Dover, NH

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at approximately 05:25 a.m., Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A responded to Route 16 in the City of Dover for a collision at the Dover Toll Plaza. Initial on-scene investigation revealed that a 2013 Ford F550 NH Department of Transportation plow truck being driven by Kenneth Boston, age 48, of Rochester, New Hampshire which was actively involved in snow and ice removal operations was traveling northbound when the front plow of the truck struck a toll booth. This impact caused the toll booth to become dislodged from its base resulting in the left two northbound E-ZPass lanes to be closed for a period of time. The toll booth was unoccupied and no injuries were reported as a result of this collision.

Maintenance personnel of the NH Department of Transportation were able to quickly realign the booth to its base which allowed this incident to have a minimal adverse impact on commuter traffic.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop-A were assisted at the scene by the NH Department of Transportation.
