Motor Vehicle Crash, Perry Road Rindge

On December 26, 2018 at approximately 8:13 PM the New Hampshire State Police, Troop C responded to assist the Rindge Police Department with a motor vehicle crash on Perry Road in the Town of Rindge. Investigation revealed that a 2017 Tesla Model X had been traveling eastbound on Perry Road when it left the roadway, struck a tree, and split in two. The vehicle had then ignited. The occupants were initially assisted by private citizens in the area, as emergency services repsonded.

The driver of the vehicle, Travis Olson, Age 17, of Rindge, NH, and a passenger, Chelsea Holombo, Age 17, of New Ipswich, NH, were transported to the Monadnock Community Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A third passenger, Nina Colasanto, Age 19, of New Ipswich, NH, was transported to UMass Worcester Hospital with life threatening injuries. Due to the serious nature of the crash, the Rindge Police Department requested the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction (C.A.R.) Unit, who responded to the scene. While all aspects of the crash are still under investigation, it appears that speed was a factor in this crash.

Assisting with this crash was the Rindge Fire Dept., Jaffrey Fire Dept, Jaffrey/Rindge Ambulance, Fitzwilliam Fire Dept, Troy Fire Dept, New Ipswich Fire Dept and Peterborough Ambulance.
