photo showing damaged block at State Library

n August 10, 2018 at approximately 7:45am Trooper Daniel Livingstone was called the area of the State House to take a report from Capital Security Officer George Brown of Criminal Mischief to the property of the State Library.

Upon arrival to the State Library, Trooper Livingstone observed a line of granite blocks that are approximately 12" square in a line along the sidewalk adjacent to Park St in front of the State Library. Each block has the previous Democrat and Republican Primary winner for each election cycle. The last two blocks were inscribed with the year 2016 with Bernie Sanders on one and Donald Trump on the other as the two winners. President Donald Trump's was the last one in the line and it was smashed during the night with the pieces being scattered about on the grass and on Park Street. It is believed that the damage happened between the hours of 4:30 am and 6:30 am.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this is urged to contact Trooper Daniel Livingstone at 603-223-4381 or via email at
