Rollover Motor Vehicle Crash, I-93 South, Windham
On July 13, 2018, at approximately 5:55 AM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks in Bedford responded to a rollover motor vehicle crash on I-93 South in the town of Windham along with Windham Fire and Medical Personnel. Upon arrival, they found that Kenneth Belyea III (Age 41), Laconia, NH, had been operating a 2015 GMC 2500 pickup truck when he swerved out of his lane to avoid debris in the roadway. This action caused Mr. Belyea to lose control of his vehicle and collide with a 2013 Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck being operated by Jeffrey Lynch (Age 58) Raymond, NH.
This Chevrolet pickup truck was carrying a Polaris Rzr side by side all-terrain vehicle at the time and as a result of this collision the truck rolled over and threw the all-terrain vehicle into the roadway. Both operators sustained only minor injuries. Belyea remained on scene and Lynch was transported to Parkland Medical Center as a precaution for the treatment of his injuries. All southbound lanes of Interstate 93 were closed for approximately thirty-five minutes while the scene was cleared up.
The collision is currently under investigation and anyone with information pertaining to this incident is urged to contact Trooper Wong-Wagner at stefan.wong-wagner@dos.nh.gov.
