Box Truck Crash, Route 106, Canterbury

On May 2, 2018 troopers from the NHSP Troop D barracks responded to the report of crash involving a commercial motor vehicle on Route 106 in Canterbury, NH.

An investigation revealed that while traveling northbound on Route 106 the Commercial Motor Vehicle exited the roadway off the right shoulder, at which time it attempted to regain control. During such time the commercial motor vehicle crossed back over Route 106, exiting the roadway again off of the southbound side of Route 106.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, although speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors.

The driver, Albert Toe, 36, was transported to Concord Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by EMS.

The commercial motor vehicle is registered to Midnight Logistics, Lowell, MA, and was transporting packages at the time of the collision.

NHSP Troop G responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Route 106 will be shut down periodically during the morning hours while the commercial motor vehicle and packages are removed from the scene.

Any witnesses are asked to contact Trooper Roberto Rosas at 603-271-3636.
