Man arrested after using a false identity at the Manchester DMV

On April 13, 2018, at approximately 1030 am, staff at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Manchester, alerted New Hampshire State Police – Troop G to the presence of a male subject, who was believed to be using fraudulent documents in an effort to obtain a New Hampshire driver's license. The New Hampshire State Police were told the male was identifying himself as JUAN CARLOS NIEVES-ORTIZ age 40, of Manchester, NH.

When Troopers arrived, they were able to confirm that the documents he presented were fraudulent. With the cooperation of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Troopers were ultimately able to identify the person as YOLIN BOLIVAR PEGUERO-MARTINEZ, age 40, of the Dominican Republic.

The New Hampshire State Police took PEGUERO-MARTINEZ into custody at the Division of Motor Vehicles in Manchester. PEGUERO-MARTINEZ was charged with 13 criminal offenses to include Unsworn Falsification, Tampering with Public Records, Prohibitions and Possession of a False identification. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections, pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit Court– District Division – Manchester on April 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
