Marijuana Seizure, Interstate 95, North Hampton

On Monday, February 19, 2018, at approximately 2:20 pm, Trooper Travis Brown of the New Hampshire State Police Troop-A, stopped a 1990 Chrysler Le Baron that was traveling northbound on Interstate 95 in North Hampton for a moving violation.

Upon stopping the vehicle, Trooper Brown conducted a roadside investigation, that ultimately lead to the discovery of approximately 21 pounds of marijuana located within the trunk of the vehicle.

The operator of the vehicle, Jakob Lemieux age 27 of Sidney ME, was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute. Lemieux was held on $7500 cash bail and arraigned on February 20, 2018 at the Rockingham Superior Court.

Assisting on the Traffic stop were Trooper Eric Willett of New Hampshire State Police Troop A, and Trooper First Class Stefan Czyzowski of New Hampshire State Police Mobile Enforcement Team.
