Motor Vehicle Fatality, White Mountain Highway (Route 125), Milton, NH

On Sunday, December 31, 2017 at approximately 9:55 p.m., the Milton Department was notified of a motor vehicle collision on Route 125 in the area of the Exit 18 overpass in Milton. Due to the seriousness of the crash they requested the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police-Troop A. Troopers along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene to assist and found one vehicle, identified as a Mitsubishi Endeavor, off the north side of the roadway approximately 50 feet off the roadway. A female subject was located on scene and was determined to be the operator identified as, Dianne JENNER, age 44, of East Wakefield, New Hampshire. She had sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. The front passenger identified as Donald THOMAS, age 58, also of East Wakefield, New Hampshire was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Based upon the initial on-scene investigation, it appears that the Mitsubishi was traveling northbound on Route 125 when it lost control, left the roadway and rolled over. The operator, Dianne JENNER, was eventually arrested at the hospital and charged with felony aggravated driving while under the influence.
