DWI Check Point, Nashua

Colonel Christopher Wagner, Director of the New Hampshire State Police and Chief Andrew Lavoie of the Nashua Police Department announce that during the weekend of June 30, 2017, State Police Troopers from Troop B in Bedford and Officers of the Nashua Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Nashua, New Hampshire.

The checkpoint is authorized by the Hillsborough County Superior Court, and will be conducted under guidelines promulgated by the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

The New Hampshire State Police and the Nashua Police consider the identification and apprehension of impaired drivers and enforcement of the Driving While Intoxicated statutes to be a top priority. Sobriety checkpoints are one of the best methods of deterring the impaired driver.
