Credit Card Fraud/Fugitives from Justice arrests

On June 16, at 12:36 p.m., Trooper Barrett of the NH State Police, Troop D Barracks, responded to the I-93 southbound rest area in Hooksett for a report of two subjects purchasing goods while fraudulently using credit cards, some of which were later determined to be stolen.

Two males were detained and subsequently arrested. One of the males, Davon Susana, gave the troopers several false names before his identity was discovered. It was learned that he was wanted in New York City for robbery.

The investigation revealed that the suspects had purchased cartons of cigarettes at the welcome centers in Hooksett for several months, using stolen and fraudulent credit cards and pre-paid gift cards. The estimated value of the fraudulently purchased cigarettes is over $5,000. It is believed that the suspects were then selling them in the New Yok City area.

The suspects were identified as Alberto Rodriguez, 24, and Mr. Davon Susana, 20, from NY. They both refused bail and were held at the Merrimack County Jail, pending arraignment at 1:00 pm. on June 19, in the Merrimack County Superior Court.

Rodriguez is being charged with Operating After Suspension, Fraudulent Use Of a Credit Card and Identity Fraud.

Susana is being charged with being a Fugitive From Justice, False Reports to Law Enforcement and Fraudulent Use Of a Credit Card.

If anyone has any further information regarding these suspects, they are asked to contact Tr. Barrett at 603-223-4381.
