Motor Vehicle Fatality, Brentwood

On Saturday, June 17, 2017 at approximately 12:23 a.m., the Brentwood Police Department was notified of a motor vehicle collision on Middle Road in the area of 66 Middle Road in Brentwood. Due to the seriousness of the crash they requested the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police-Troop A. Troopers along with Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene to assist and found one vehicle, identified as an Audi A4, off the south side of the roadway on the front lawn of 66 Middle Road. A male subject was trapped inside the vehicle and was determined to be the operator identified as, Seth Winkle, age 21, of Exeter, New Hampshire who had sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. Another occupant determined to be the rear passenger was also transported to Portsmouth Hospital non-life threatening injuries.  He was identified as Austin Look, age 20 of Exeter, New Hampshire. The front passenger identified as Jasmine Marston, age 22 of Newmarket, New Hampshire sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Based upon the initial on-scene investigation, it appears that the Audi was traveling eastbound on Middle Road when it lost control, struck a large tree, and rolled over.

At the request of the initial responding units, the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit responded to the scene. The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction, (C.A.R.) Unit was assisted on scene by members of the New Hampshire State Police-Troop A, the Brentwood Police Department, the Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department, as well as The Office of the State Medical Examiner.  Due to the collision, Middle Road in this area was closed for approximately 4 hours.

At this time it appears that speed may have been factors in this crash, however all aspects remain under investigation.
