On Sunday, June 11, 2017 at approximately 5:30 pm, Marine Patrol was notified of a serious boating accident on Lake Monomonac in Rindge.
Investigators learned that Meghan Rodriguez, 29, of Fitchburg MA was a passenger on a 2016 Kawasaki personal watercraft operated by Joseph Ocasio of Winchendon MA. While returning to shore after tubing, Ms. Rodriguez fell from the back of the machine and became tangled in the line used to tow the tube.
