Rollover Motor Vehicle Accident, Interstate 93, Londonderry

On March 23, 2017 at approximately 1110, Troopers from State Police Troop B Barracks and members of the Londonderry Fire Department were dispatched to a reported rollover crash on Interstate 93 North, in the area of the Exit 4 on ramp in Town of Londonderry, NH.

Upon the arrival of State Police personnel they discovered that the sole male occupant was entrapped within the confines of the vehicle.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jeffrey P. Texter, Age 44, Andover, MA.

Texter was semi-conscious and appeared to be suffering from life threatening injuries. Upon the Londonderry Fire and Rescue arriving on scene, they immediately called for a medical helicopter to respond to the scene to assist. Texter was extricated from the vehicle by the Londonderry Fire and Rescue and then flown by the DHART Medical Helicopter to Mass General Hospital in Boston for the treatment. The vehicle, identified as a gold 2014 Toyota Camry, sustained significant damage and was towed from the scene.

The north bound side of Interstate 93 was restricted to one lane of travel for approximately one hour and completely shut down for approximately 25 minutes while a medical helicopter landed at the scene.

This case remains under investigation and anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call Trooper A. Richards at (603)223-4381.
