Search of Automobile Dealer and Inspection Station Leads to Discovery of Meth Lab, Derry

On November 9, 2016 at approximately 10:01 a.m., Troopers of the New Hampshire State Police – Troop G went to Auto Alley, located in Derry, NH, in order to conduct a search of the automobile dealership and inspection station, pursuant to a search warrant.

Trooper Nicholas Iannone of the New Hampshire State Police – Troop G, learned during the course of an investigation that Auto Alley had been improperly transferring New Hampshire State Safety Inspection stickers among vehicles that they owned or had sold. A search of the property revealed that a number of vehicles offered for sale by Auto Alley had fraudulently issued inspection stickers affixed to the windshields.

Additionally while Troopers were conducting a search of the business, they discovered ingredients used to "cook" methamphetamine. A second search warrant was obtained and evidence of drug manufacturing was seized. The New Hampshire Clandestine Laboratory Team was contacted in order to secure the hazardous materials found at the scene.

The New Hampshire State Police was assisted in the investigation by members of the Windham Police Department and The New Hampshire Clandestine Laboratory Team.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Trooper Nicholas Iannone at (603) 223-8778.

No further information is available at this time.
