Motor Vehicle Arrest, Campton

On Saturday, October 29, 2016 at around 11:07p.m., Trooper Sean Smarz was monitoring traffic on Interstate 93 in the town of Campton, NH, when he observed a vehicle being operated erratically that was dangerously swerving all over the roadway and traveling over the rumble strips. Trooper Smarz continued to monitor the vehicle and noticed that it was also traveling at an extremely high rate of speed. Utilizing RADAR, Trooper Smarz confirmed the vehicles speed to be 108 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. The vehicle, identified as, a 2007 Mazda 3, was stopped on Interstate 93 in Campton and the driver was identified as, Ryan Dicicco, age 19, Hudson, NH.

A roadside investigation led to the arrest of Diccico for Aggravated DWI, Subsequent DWI, Reckless Driving, Transporting Alcohol by a Minor, Transporting Drugs, and Possession of Drugs. He was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the 2nd Circuit-District Division-Plymouth District Court on November 17, 2016 to answer to the charges.
