Fatal Motorcycle Crash. Interstate 93, Manchester

On October 19, 2016, at approximately 10:30 A.M. Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks in Bedford responded to a motorcycle crash with injury that occurred on Interstate 93 southbound in the vacinity of the exit 8 on-ramp.

An accident investigation revealed that a 2015 Triumph Motorcycle operated by a Craig Levesque, age 41 of Manchester, NH, was traveling southbound on Interstate 93 when Levesque lost control of his motorcycle and spun out onto the right side of the highway. Levesque became separated from the motorcycle and both Levesque and his motorcylce crashed into the curb and guardrail along the side of the interstate.

Levesque was transported to the Elliott Hospital for serious injuries sustained in the crash and later succumbed to his injuries.

Manchester Fire Department,  Manchester Police Department and the NH Department of Transportation all assisted at the scene of the crash. The Exit 8 southbound on-ramp was shut down for a short period of time during the accident investigation.
