On October 4, 2016 at approximately 10:09 a.m., Trooper Brandon Girardi and Automotive Equipment Inspector Logan Ramsay of the New Hampshire State Police – Troop G went to Robinson’s Repair, located in Colebrook, NH, in order to conduct a routine audit of the automobile dealership and inspection station.

During the course of the audit, Trooper Girardi discovered that the facility was unable to account for numerous State inspection stickers. Trooper Girardi also discovered an inspection sticker that belonged on a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, which had been issued by Michael Robinson, age 47, of Colebrook, NH, was actually displayed on a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Trooper Girardi and Automotive Equipment Inspector Ramsay ultimately found that a number of vehicles that were offered for sale by Robinson’s Repair had fraudulent inspection stickers affixed to the windshields.

ROBINSON, who is the owner of Robinson’s Repair and an approved State of New Hampshire mechanic, was arrested for Counterfeit, Unauthorized or Forged Stickers in violation of RSA 262:16. He was taken into custody without incident and was released on $250 Personal Recognizance bail pending an arraignment in the 1st Circuit - District Division – Colebrook Court on December 15, 2016.
