On September 16, 2016 at approximately 12:53 pm troopers from State Police Troop D responded to Route 106 in Loudon to assist the Loudon Police Department with the investigation of a multiple car crash in the area of 379 Route 106. Shortly thereafter additional troopers from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team were called to the scene. Initial investigation indicates that prior to the crash Cynthia Brock, age 64, Loudon, New Hampshire had been travelling southbound on Route 106 and was in the process turning left onto the access road for the Cascade Campground when her vehicle, a 2008 Jeep, was struck by William Marshall, age 63, Belmont, New Hampshire who was driving a 2013 Honda Accord and also travelling southbound. The impact to the rear of Brock's Jeep caused her vehicle to cross the centerline and into the northbound lane. At which time Darcy Hamilton, age 53, Tilton, New Hampshire who was driving northbound in a 2011 Subaru Outback struck the Jeep. Each of the drivers were transported by ambulance to the Concord Hospital with multiple injuries. Route 106 remained closed for nearly 3 hours during the crash investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call Trooper Jessica Kelley at 603-271-3636.
