A Massachusetts man was arrested at 7:15 this morning on Interstate 93 in Bow for recklessly driving at speeds up to 119 mph.

A 2012 Nissan Maxima was observed by Trooper First Class Jeffrey Ardini to be exceeding the posted limit of 65 mph and weaving in and out of traffic during the morning commute.

The vehicle and its operator, Kyle A. Terrien, 22, of Dighton, MA, were eventually intercepted at the NH Welcome Center in Hooksett.

The Trooper was able to ascertain Terrien's speed by employing a hand-held light distance and ranging device commonly referred to as LIDAR.

Terrien was charged with Reckless Driving and also with Possession of a Controlled Drug. He was released on personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled for arraignment in the 6th Circuit, District Division, Concord Court on Sept. 23, at 8:00 a.m.
