Luis Medina, age 48, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested as a result of an investigation conducted by Trooper James O'Leary of the New Hampshire State Police – Troop G. Medina, who had been claiming to be Miguel Roldan, Jr., age 49, of Manchester NH, had been identified as by the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles as possibly using false information in order to obtain a driver license, vehicle registrations and titles.

On April 22, 2016, at approximately 2:37 p.m., Trooper O'Leary learned that Medina had recently renewed his motor vehicle registration. As Trooper O'Leary was in route to conduct a follow up investigation on the matter, he observed Medina driving a 2002 Honda Odyssey in the opposite direction along South Willow Street in Manchester.

Trooper O'Leary with the assistance of Trooper First Class Richard Dupont was able to conduct a traffic stop of Medina's vehicle. With the help of officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Troopers were able to confirm that Medina had used a false identity to obtain his New Hampshire driver license.

Medina was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with Disobeying a Police Officer, Operating After Suspension, Prohibitions, and multiple counts of Tampering with Public Records. Medina was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant out of the state of Massachusetts for Trafficking Controlled Substances. Furthermore, it was discovered that Medina was a native of the Dominican Republic who was residing in the United States illegally. He refused bail and was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending his arraignment in the 9th Circuit – District Division - Manchester Court on April 25, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
