On Friday, February 5, 2016 at approximately 3:10 p.m. the Portsmouth Police Department was notified and responded to a motor vehicle collision located on Lang Road within the City of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Upon arrival the investigation revealed a white 2007 International Sanitation truck owned by the City of Portsmouth was being operated by Alan CADE of Madbury, New Hampshire, age 59 was stopped on Lang Road while the passenger James MURRAY of Rye, New Hampshire, age 45 was behind the vehicle collecting trash.  Simultaneously a maroon 2014 Ford Fusion being operated by Michael TONER of Rye, New Hampshire, age 24 was traveling eastbound on Lang Road.
